The people of Khayelitsha township in Cape Town are still reeling from another shock after witnessing another mass shooting in their township, leaving eight people dead. Mass shootings are not uncommon in this area. Last year around October,  26 people were killed in separate incidents within four weeks.

Khayelitsha - is regarded as one of the most violent townships in the country…how does this impact the development of the township?
