1. Nothing bad ever last. Everything has an ending and remembering this is how I was able to hold on and keep going.

2. Tuck and Roll: 2020 has taught me that life changes in a blink of an eye, and I have to able to bend and not break to life.

3. Having peace within and with myself is more important than anything.

Closure is something, only you can give to yourself. No one else can give you closure; you are the only one that has that power. You have the power to heal your own wounds. Time does not heal your wounds; it is what you are doing during that time that heals your wounds. You are the only one that can give yourself closure. You can’t get closure from anyone else, nor should you seek to find closure in someone else either. You have the power and strength to heal yourself.

No matter how painful that emotional scar is, you have to deal with it. Running away, using someone or something else will NOT heal that scar. In fact, trying to use any other coping methods will NOT help, it will add more pain, hurt, and lies. Looking that pain in the face and asking yourself the serious, hard, and uncomfortable questions is truly the ONLY way to really heal. Emotion scars are more painful, and it takes work to heal, however, the work is worth the reward, I promise.

3 STEPS I took to become my AUTHENTIC-SELF:

Step 1: I STOPPED, doing things that didn't make me happy.
Step 2: I STARTED, doing things that did make me happy.
Step 3: I ACCEPTED, all the versions of who I am. 

Once I started doing these steps it became a lot easier to STOP giving a F***! Because I was being true to my inner-self and I was happy with woman I was becoming. I promise, if you follow these steps you will become one-step closer to YOUR authentic self.

Starting over doesn't mean erasing your past or you're mistakes. To me, it means accepting that this part of my life has ran it course; and it’s time to start learning new lessons. Also, remembering my past MISTAKES. As well as growing, and healing from all my past ones. I will not “try,” I will do, I will grow, I will learn, and I will heal.
