Peter Wilt is a legendary figure in American soccer. As the founding president and general manager of MLS Chicago Fire, he led the team to an MLS Cup and three US Open Cups, earning a place in the Illinois Soccer Hall of Fame and the Chicago Fire's Ring of Fire. Wilt has founded or relaunched eight professional soccer clubs. He is an advocate for an open soccer system with promotion and relegation.
