**Update: I have received word from Indiegogo that the two raffle crowdfund programs have been taken down until they can comply to the Terms of Service. Thanks to Lisa from IndieGogo for reaching out to me!

It’s another episode of Kickstarter for iPad part 4. The items in order:

Kudo – Portable Power

This charger claimed to be different and it definitely had a different look . It is a solar case with a case insert that looks like those 80’s blinds glasses. It’s for iPhone, iPad, mini and Nexus 7. You will have access to power wherever you have sunlight. If not, you can charge the 5000 mAmp normally.

Gekko Stand Adjustable Mount

It’s like those camera stands that bend all over – the Gekko stand will let you twist and turn your iPad and iPhone in the right position. With the nanosuction pads you can attach to most flat surfaces that are not too porous. The suction system leaves no residue behind.

Wrap’it headphone wrapper for iPad

It’s a device that affixes to the back of your iPhone or iPad and holds your headphones. when you need them just unravel them from the disc and put them in. To put back, just wind them up and stick the buds in the notch. This can work on any tablet or smartphone – even can stick to a wall or other side if you want to organize your headphones.

ArchMount for iPad

Not only is this an easy piece to carry with you, it also connects to a tripod. Perfect for those photographers or videographers using the iPad for pictures. The ArchMount is small in form factor and can attach to any 1/4-20 screw mount. With the accompanying mount bracket, easily connect to any tripod in an upright manner. Also perfect for artists that draw or paint and temporary Kiosks.

iStroll Kid iPad Holder for Strollers

With the iStroll, you can go out and get some exercise and fresh air, while your child has something to do. The iStroll is a bar that hangs from the stroller where a child can watch a video, play a game, read a book or more. They keep their minds going while you get around the neighborhood. The creator also mentions this is a good piece to have if you are in a wheelchair. Just attach the bar to the side and insert the iPad.

iPadded Cell

This is a pretty ridiculous idea. The creator wants to take 520 iPads and place them on the walls, floor and ceiling. He then wants to do some type of Facetime where the person is in a house of mirrors. He calculates the project to cost $273,000 in iPads alone. Add $20,000 for his time and the 10% Amazon gets and you have $325,000 in the next 45 days. He only has one backer.

Backing a Project – Don’t Crowdfund Raffles or Lotteries!

While I was on Indiegogo, I noticed there were two crowdfunding projects that want to giveaway an iPad mini. One in particular simply says:

I’ve always wanted to draw a large crowd by hosting a great giveaway that most people would enjoy. However, with my financial situation, I was never able to do this. Actually, I’m still not able to do this, which is why I’m doing something different. I’ll be hosting a giveaway of an iPad Mini, if we can reach our goal. Every dollar you contribute will enable you an entry. Yes,
