A Western Sydney tobacconist who was kidnapped and held hostage for two days last month has been arrested on firearms charges after police raids uncovered six replica guns and thousands of illegal cigarettes at his Mount Pritchard business and home. The 53-year-old Fairfield man, who was found with serious injuries after his abduction by four masked men, was refused bail due to a lengthy criminal history including previous jail time for firearms offences. He will remain in custody until May despite the weapons being replicas.
