The Word on Medicine has a wonderful program this week – and it is all about Kidney Transplantation.

Our all-star cast includes Dr. Matthew Cooper, Chief of Transplantation; Alyssa Rutledge, Registered Nurse and Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Coordinator; Dr. Rima Patel, Medical Director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation in the Division of Nephrology; and Ami Blatter, a Registered Nurse and Living Kidney Donor Transplant Coordinator. Most importantly, we have two amazing patients - Mark & Stacy (recipient and donor of a kidney transplant – and husband and wife).
