In this message, we are reminded that our journey with God has moved from awakening at Gihon, to gaining strength on the ancient paths, to forging conviction at Hermon—and now Kidron calls us to turn those convictions into daily decisions. We learn that Kidron is not a place of dramatic moments but the valley where our quiet, repetitive choices reveal who we truly are, just as loyalties were exposed when David and later Jesus crossed it. As we consider the narrow ascent toward God and the wide descent away from Him, along with the monuments of Zechariah and Absalom standing side by side, we see that our small decisions carry radical outcomes. The Spirit assures us that we are already a people who have said “Yes” in advance, and now our task is to let our steps match the ancient path beneath our feet so that our lives become monuments of faithfulness shaped one decision at a time.
