This week on Fridays are for Families we talk about The Church. It's more than just our local church - the Church is global, or universal. What does that mean? How can we talk to our kids about The Church? One of the essential things we try to model for and teach to our kids here at Pathway is that they aren't just the Church of the future, but very much are a part of the Church today. That's reflected in how we teach, what we invite them into, and the influence they have in our congregation. Take a moment one Sunday or Thursday at Pathway and look around - how many kids and teens do you see?
How can you have more conversations with your kid about what the Church is, what their place is in the Church, and how to live as a member of the Body of Christ today? One way to have more conversations is to listen in to this conversation we have today and invite your kid to watch or listen right alongside.
