Our spare time is valuable. It's an opportunity for much-needed recreation, connection, growth, etc. But when we have children we need to reevaluate how we spend our spare time. Our kids are only kids for so long, then they grow up and move out and have their own lives. View the spare time you have with them as sacred and make them a focal point of how to spend your downtime.
