In 2009 with Velvet Revolver firmly in the rearview mirror Slash began work on a solo project. For this effort he would write music tailored to singers he had in mind for the lead vocal. Bringing along a star studded lineup including the likes of Lemmy, Iggy Pop and Chris Cornell among many other giants of the industry the result was a rock n roll album with a unique twist to each track. We dive into how this album came about and go track by track inlcuding those that didnt end up on the albums final cut.
