John Wayne Gacy, also known as the "Killer Clown," was an American serial killer and sex offender who murdered at least 33 young men and boys in the 1970s. He often lured his victims to his home, where he would sexually assault and kill them, burying many in the crawl space of his house. Gacy was known for his community involvement, often dressing as "Pogo the Clown" for children's parties. He was convicted in 1980 and executed in 1994.
