Today's Killersode involves the murder surrounding Brandon Teena. What does it take to be seen? We discuss the origins of Brandon Teena's life.  As we try to live our lives open an honest, is it our truth that matters, or whatever society thinks? When we love, is it our hearts that matter most? We're frustrated again as we see police fall down on the job. Looking at Brandon's life, we see the violation of his life both when alive and in death. We wonder will we ever see a world fully accepting of a person's truth. Education and love are the key to embracing humanity. Before the Oscars "incident" we get into the AMPAS (aka Academy Awards people) and why the Oscars suck...yeah we're not impressed. This week's social justice issue revolves around the mistreatment through laws, abuse, and murder of transgendered persons, most often transgender women. As time marches on, we see that turning back time is the order of today's society in certain parts of our country.  Does the damage to peoples identities make life safer for the whole in lieu of safety for the individual?
