Kim felt for a long time she was a failure. She failed the Law Bar exam multiple times and because she couldn’t practice as a lawyer she took paralegal and administrative roles in which she felt shame.

Kim’s story is inspiring because after such a long struggle in law she finally allows herself to let go of traditional messages of what a career should look like and explore a new and unknown path. She opens her 401K, the American retirement savings account, and invests in the time and space to figure out what makes her heart sing. She invests in her true self.
