Welcome back Kim Kennedy! With no races on Kim took on a Fastest Known Time (FKT) project. Kev joined in at the last minute and together we ran a mixed team fastest known time on the Mary Towneley loop. Check out https://fastestknowntime.com/route/mary-towneley-loop-united-kingdom for more detail. Previous recorded time was 11hrs39 minutes for unsupported mixed team. With a little support, water at 28 miles, we set a new fastest time of 9hrs8 mins! It was a wonderful day out so we would like to share some of the story with you!
The Mary Towneley Loop is a 47-mile (76 km) circular route that forms part of the Pennine Bridleway National Trail, along the borders of Lancashire and Yorkshire in the UK.
