Season 2 has begun… we sat down with Kim Scott, a born and bred Adelaidean whose early curiosity for pulling apart doorknobs led to an extraordinary career in defence innovation.

From studying mechanical engineering at Adelaide University to working on cutting-edge guided weapons systems at DSTG, Kim knew early on what he wanted - to push the boundaries of technology. That drive took him overseas during the Gulf War as part of an elite scientist exchange program in Huntsville, Alabama, home to the US Army Missile Command and NASA’s Space Flight Centre.
