Kimberley Conte, the General Manager of Women's World Cup Adelaide & Legacy talk about the her new role at Football SA in the lead up to the biggest tournament in women's football coming to Australia.
Her love for sport was instilled in her from a young age, growing up in Santa Barbara and getting her first taste of working in sport by putting her hand up as a volunteer. She shares how volunteering in sport lead her to Adelaide, which actually had nothing to do directly with work, but from her time involved in cycling in the USA.
As the Race Director of the Women's Tour Down Under, there came some challenge, but the tournament saw success creating excitement around the event, plus she reveals why working in Football was the right choice.
