"I guess I'm putting myself in the running for most predictable answer of all time. But the book I thought of immediately for this prompt was To Kill a Mockingbird. And I think it's largely because of the way Scout begins to see and appreciate her father and how he functions in the broader community. And, you know, he's created this tremendous safety for her and Jim, and she starts to see beyond the boundaries of that safety."
