The Greaterverse

Kindness in Action: Small Acts, Real Impact

Listen Later

In this episode of The Greaterverse, I’m joined by one of my favourite humans Pinky Lilani CBE DL: community builder, diversity advocate, and a living reminder that kindness isn’t “soft”… it’s powerful.

From Calcutta to the UK, Pinky shares how curiosity, courage and a deeply people-first philosophy helped her build a life rooted in connection. Through platforms like the Women of the Future Awards, she has spent decades championing women across industries, cultures and generations, creating spaces where talent is recognised and futures are shaped.

As we approach International Women’s Day on 8 March, and this year’s theme“Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls” , this conversation feels especially timely. It’s about opening doors, expanding your tribe, lifting others as you rise, and planting seeds for a future we may never personally see.

If this episode leaves you feeling a little brighter, please follow the show, share it with someone who needs a reminder that good people exist and tell me in the comments:

Who have you met that made you believe in kindness again?

In this conversation, you’ll learn:

  • How Pinky built community from scratch in a new country

  • Why kindness is a superpower

  • What it takes to build real networks with connection and authenticity

  • Her best advice: keep learning, ask boldly, and never give up

Incredible people. Incredible things.
