Peau is a beautiful peacock, and Coco is a crow. In the beginning, no one likes Coco, but when she helps Peau, everyone starts to be kind to her.
Here are some ways to engage students using this story:
1. Have a discussion with students - Have they ever been stuck in a problem? If yes, how did they get help to come out of it?
2. Ask students to imagine themselves as Peau and Coco. Write a conversation between them from when they first met and how they became best friends.
3. Let students draw one scene (the one they liked the most) from the story.
