Everyone wants to grow in their walk with Christ, but we must first look in the mirror and see who we are, as well as the people we surround ourselves with. We've all heard the saying, "You are the average of the five people with whom you spend the most time." When you read about Jacob's origins, you'll notice that the majority of his manipulative methods stem from the people that were in his vicinity. Because of the spirit he was carrying, Jacob drew those people to him. With that said, examine your spirit as well as the people you maintain in your presence. Who are your kindred spirits?
