Aldfrith is a Northumbrian King rarely mentioned, rarely written about and often confused with others.  Despite this I have researched his life and I firmly believe he is far more important and influential than the records show. After a period of military powerhouses like Edwin, Oswald and Oswiu dominating the Anglo_Saxon Heptarchy, the scene was set for a Northumbrian Golden Age in religion and learning. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. So how does an unknown like Aldfrith fit in to it all? Within a month or two (hopefully sooner) of this release I will have taken my camera out to the locations mentioned in the story and will upload the video to my you tube channel.
