Thank you for tuning into our latest Sunday Morning Service from Covenant Church! In today's message, Pastors Gregory and Jackie Pope preach a message on King David. In David's early life, he had faith in God and relied on Him for protection against the beasts in the wilderness. Then, David relied on God to defeat Goliath and the Philistines, but David wasn't perfect. Later on while on the run from King Saul, he took shelter with the Philistines. The entire time he stayed with the enemy, he never called out to God or sought His presence. Once David was eventually betrayed by the Philistines and David's mighty men were ready to stone him, David finally sought after God. After seeking the Lord, everything that the enemy took from David was restored by God.
