This week Pastor Aidan Wivell continues our King & Kingdom Come series with a message from Luke 11:1–13 titled: Teach Us To Pray.
In this passage, Jesus pauses on his journey to pray. Watching him, the disciples are struck by the way he connects with the Father and ask a simple but profound question: “Lord, teach us to pray.”
In response, Jesus gives them more than just words to say — he shows them the heart, posture, and confidence with which they can approach God. He reminds them that they can ask, seek, and knock, trusting in the goodness of the Father who hears them.
As we explore Jesus’ example and teaching together this week, we’ll echo the disciples’ request and ask the same prayer: “Lord, teach us to pray.”
