The Thrill of Hope reminds us that beginnings matter. That the story of Jesus begins not in perfection, but in a mess. Born in a stable, Jesus reveals the true nature of God: accessible, near, and willing to dwell among the weary. God chose to be relatable to the very people He came to save, stepping into brokenness to bring redemption. Even now, Jesus enters the middle of our mess, meeting us with hope and transforming us into messengers of His good news.

Pastor Kristie dives into 1 Kings 18, Elijah confronts a divided nation with one piercing question: “How long will you waver between two opinions?”

A divided heart leaves no room for the King.

This message calls us to choose completely. To rebuild the altar of our hearts by laying down pride, pain, control, and false identities. Our hearts are the altar, our bodies the temple, and our lives the sacrifice.

God’s fire doesn’t fall on effort, it falls on surrender.

When the altar is restored, God restores identity and releases His consuming fire.

As we finish off our year end series Pastor Harrison goes over Acts 12:1-7 reminding us that momentum often invites opposition. When God is moving in your life, the enemy resists. Seeking to bind, break, and isolate those marked for influence. You can be walking in obedience and still face an attack. But chains don’t define people, God does.

Stop seeing others by their bondage and start seeing them by God’s design. What looks like a closed door is never the end in God’s Kingdom. Prayer reaches places we can’t, opens doors we didn’t know existed, and sets captives free.

Chains may close doors, but God always has another way. Keep praying. Keep serving. Keep sowing good seeds because seeds go where we cannot, and a Kingdom harvest is coming.

In part 2 of our faith series Pastor Harrison speaks an impactful message called "There's Power In The Seed" In Mark 4:26–29, Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom grows when we faithfully sow good seeds into good soil. The Word of God works in ways we cannot always see, but it never works in vain. As we plant truth, love, and the Gospel into the lives around us, God is at work beneath the surface—quietly, steadily, powerfully. Only in the ground do we see the overflow and abundance of the harvest. What starts hidden becomes holy, what begins small becomes significant, and what we surrender to God becomes a crop we could never produce on our own.

Pastor Harrison gave us a powerful preview of what the next four weeks will hold as we close out this year with purpose and step into the next with strength.

We looked at Psalm 107, part of Book 5 - a section of the Psalms filled with praise. It reminds us that when we rebel against God, we fall into sin, and all sin leads to captivity. But God, in His mercy, rescues us the moment we cry out to Him.

Let’s choose freedom.

Let’s submit to God so we don’t end up bound by chains the enemy wants to place on us.

God desires our freedom, while the enemy desires our restriction.
