Welcome to Season 1: The Decay of a Nation. In this season, we'll be unpacking all things politics, from race and identity to feminism and LBGTQ+ issues, and so much more from a Biblical perspective. So grab your Bibles as we dig deep into God's Word.
In this week's episode, "Kingdom Voting," we explore how we, as children of God, should vote in this year's election. Our identity is rooted in Jesus Christ, not a political party, therefore, as Christians our vote should be for a candidate that will best represent the values of the Kingdom of God. We'll be asking ourselves what the Word of God has to say by looking at policy in comparison to Scripture.
Three questions we should ask ourselves when deciding on who to vote for as believers:
1. Where does this candidate stand on abortion?
Bible Verses: Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Psalms 139:13-16, Jeremiah 1:5.
2. Where does the candidate stand on the LGBTQ+ agenda?
Bible Verses: Genesis 5:2, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Jude 1:7, Romans 1:18-32.
3. Where does this candidate stand on supporting Israel?
Bible Verses: Genesis 12:3, Numbers 24:9.
