Authentic salvation carries embedded within it the component of making it all the way unto the end. Yes, true Christians do not exit the faith because they cannot exit the faith. Those who renounce Christ, “lose their faith”, or return to sin do not forfeit salvation. They actually prove they never had it to begin with. These people had a form of godliness but never the true power of regenerative faith. These are the seeds who had no root in themselves and withered and died. For the authentically converted ones, we will and must endure. The tension between God keeping us and the means by which He does so being our commitment to endure is hard to understand. Yet, it is impossible to deny. Are we enduring? Are you beginning to find it easier to quit on seemingly smaller things - your word, your marriage covenant, your home church, your spiritual disciplines? May urgent repentance find you because this slippery slope leads to nothing good. KINGDOM DNA contains both the expectation and the ability to endure. This message helps us to see what that looks like.
