1. Assessed his situation (Romans 4:19) through lens of God’s promise. Did not deny existence of his circumstances but refused to believe present circumstances would be the final outcome!

2. Grew strong …. Giving glory to God; Grew more confident, resting on God’s ability! Worship and respeaking the Word of God.

3. The necessity of patience! (Hebrews 6:11-15) [Faith’s anchor; Love’s first adjective (1 Corinthians 13:4)]
