1) THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD

1 Thess. 2: 13

And we continually thank God because, when you received the word of God that you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as it truly is, the word of God, which is also now at work in you who believe.

    ●The world will continue to demote God's Word as though it was the word of men

    ●The Church will continue to elevate the Scriptures as the Word of God

    ●One of the marks of a true Christian, is your attitude towards God's Word

    ●It is God's Word, not God's suggestion, not God's proposition 

NB: The proof the God's Word has reached you, is the weight you give it. Does it outweigh you. ( views, feelings, etc) 

2) Seek a relationship with the Holy Spirit

    ●You were never supposed to do this life alone and figure things out on your own

    ●A human being without the Holy Spirit, is incomplete, and will not reach your maximum potential in this life (as a man, as a woman, a father, mother, husband, a priest for God in the earth) 

    ●There is a Spirit who is supposed to live in you. His name is Holy Spirit

    ●There are two things about about the Holy Spirit that you must remember 

A) He is the Spirit of Truth (not the Spirit of fact) 

    ●The things you see and experience, are not always the truth about your life. They are facts yes, but not the absolute truth. 

    ●The Bible says the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, and will lead us into all truth

John 16: 13

13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

B) He is the Spirit of power

    ●The Holy Spirit provides evidence or proof regarding the credentials of Christ . 

    ●Without the Holy Spirit in us, the world will never be fully convinced 

    ●In the absence of the Holy Spirit,  Jesus has no witnesses, who provide evidence that He is indeed Lord over all creation. 

ACTS 1:8

8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be [a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

NB: Be strong in the Holy Spirit 

3) Be under the blood of Jesus

    ●The blood announces your new birth, through the forgiveness of sin. 

    ●The blood turns God's face towards you

    ●The blood breaks the curse off you

    ●The blood announces the beginning of the process of life being set into motion, in your destiny 

Ephesians 1: 7 (NLV) 

7 Because of the blood of Christ, we are bought and made free from the punishment of sin. And because of His blood, our sins are forgiven. His loving-favor to us is so rich.

NB: Without the blood of Jesus working in your life, and for you, you have no life here. 

NB: Be strong in the blood of Jesus. 

4) Be a faithful and committed member in your local church. 

    ●In the age of convenience and worship of self, be known in your church to be a committed member. 

    ●And don't just be committed, be known to be committed. 

Hebrews 10: 25 (NLV) 

25 Let us not stay away from church meetings. Some people are doing this all the time. Comfort each other as you see the day of His return coming near.

    ●Imagine a registered, professional soccer player who goes to the soccer field when they feel like it. 

   etc

BARAK ( To kneel") 

    ●It is the halving oneself ( make yourself half) 

    ●When someone kneels, their personal height is reduced

    ●Their strength 

    ●Your fighting position is compromised

    ●Your independence is voluntarily surrendered

    ●Kneeling says: "We are not at same level". (your ways are higher than my ways, your thoughts higher) 

NB: John 3: 30 says: "He must increase, but I must decrease" 

2.2 SHACHAR (Lay down flat - prostrate) 

    ●It is the flattening of self 

    ●I have no words (head, mouth facing down) 

    ●I have no rights

    ●I have no authority

    ●I am at the same level with dirt

NB: SHACHAR is when all your members paralyzed. 

    ●The only part that remains upright, are your ears. 

    ●So, when I get up from here, I will walk in the direction

1) WHY DO WE GET BAPTIZED? 

Matthew 28: 19

Answer: There are two reasons

1) Jesus commands it

2) Jesus was also baptized. (In Matthew 3, Jesus tells John "I need to be baptized by you."... But... 

2) WHAT IS BAPTISM? 

Answer: The word Baptism means to "immerse" or to "dip". 

    ●The whole body must be submerged.... there is a reason for that. 

    ●But let's start here. Kusukela ekuqaleni kudalwa umhlaba, UNkulunkulu uma ezokwenza into entsha, abengasali amanzi

    ●When God was going to do something knew, water was not absent

    ●Now in Genesis 1: 1, the Bible says:

 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

    ●The word "deep" there is "tehom", it means a mass of dark and chaotic water. 

    ●It is a place of danger and disorder 

NB: So amanzi represents the realm of chaos and danger

    ●Now in the book of Genesis, God pulls out the rest of creation. 

    ●Before anything is brought out, the Bible says the Spirit of God was brooding over the waters

    ●Umhlaba (the world), & all of creation, in a way was baptized. It was pulled out from under the waters. 

    ●Again at the FLOOD, the whole world is buried under water

    ●From chaotic waters a new world is born

    ●Again the Lord pulls the world up, from under riotous waters

    ●This is the second baptism

NB: Then there is the Red Sea

    ●Then Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10: 1 - 4 (NET) 

● Etc....

The mission of God's people, is to align our beliefs, our traditions, our culture, our spirituality, our sexuality, our families, etc

...with the original blueprint that God gave us in His Word.

Believers, are people in a generation whose assignment is to return to that which the Lord established in the beginning

In this powerful teaching, Pastor Nonhlanhla Gcabashe asks the question: " What type of people will judge angels?" What must we have conquered in this life to be given such a responsibility on the day of judgment?

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

One of the most important things about us, is that our lives move in the direction of what we BELIEVE and what we DO

E.g So.. If we BELIEVE right.... We tend to DO right.. 

    ●Animals on the other hand, live by INSTINCT...

E.g. A lion does not need to have a particular belief about hunting.... For him to be successful in hunting.. 

A) ORTHODOXY (What you believe) 

B) ORTHOPRAXY (What you do) 

    ●Jesus said:  "Whoever believes in Me, will also do, the works that I am doing. And greater works than these will he do"  (John 14: 12)

NB: You can't DO godly, if you don't believe God

NB: You can't DO Christian if you don't believe Christ
