Believers, are people in a generation whose assignment is to return to that which the Lord established in the beginning

In this powerful teaching, Pastor Nonhlanhla Gcabashe asks the question: " What type of people will judge angels?" What must we have conquered in this life to be given such a responsibility on the day of judgment?

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

(1 Corinthians 6: 3 - 5)

One of the most important things about us, is that our lives move in the direction of what we BELIEVE and what we DO

E.g So.. If we BELIEVE right.... We tend to DO right.. 

    ●Animals on the other hand, live by INSTINCT...

E.g. A lion does not need to have a particular belief about hunting.... For him to be successful in hunting.. 

A) ORTHODOXY (What you believe) 

B) ORTHOPRAXY (What you do) 

    ●Jesus said:  "Whoever believes in Me, will also do, the works that I am doing. And greater works than these will he do"  (John 14: 12)

NB: You can't DO godly, if you don't believe God

NB: You can't DO Christian if you don't believe Christ

THE STATE OF WITHOUTNESS

NB: THERE IS A SPIRITUAL CONDITION CALLED "Tohu" IN HEREW 

    ●It is the worst condition any created thing can ever BE in. 

    ●The first time we see this word is in

Genesis 1:2

    ●"And the earth was without form, and void..." (KJV)

    ● "Without form " >> is Tohu  in Hebrew

(It means formlessness, emptiness, wasteland, chaos) 

    ●Tohu means existence without 

    ● Existence without identity

    ●Existence without order 

    ●Existence without assignment.

    ● In Genesis 1:2  the earth existed, but it had no form, no function, no purpose 

    ●It was real but undeployed. 

  NB: This is the condition of everything before the Word of God comes — present but purposeless.

    ● THIS IS THE TOHU condition - in existence but undefined.

    ● So God, takes His Word, into every Tohu condition:

 — into formless lives, structureless families, purposeless individuals, without identity.. 

    ● The Word is received and obeyed... until structure , identity, and assignment emerge.

A timely message for the Church in 2026 and beyond

Jesus answered and said to them, “You are in error, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God."

NB: One of the most dangerous things that can happen to anyone in this life.... Is to be in error of belief.. 

    ●Because erroneous belief will produce erroneous results

NB:ERRONEOUS >> 

    ●Wrong or erroneous belief, will produce wrong and erroneous results. 

NB: ERROR >  "a deviation (a moving away) from TRUTH, through ignorance" 

NB: Now..To know the Word, and be erroneous, in our understanding or interpretation of it, is as bad as NOT knowing the Scriptures at all. 

NB: The Saducees, to whom the Lord was talking, they thought they knew the Scriptures, but they knew the writings incorrectly..... 

    ●And so Jesus says, your wrong understanding of the Word "error", is equivalent to not knowing the Word at all. 

    ●Because if you don't know the Scriptures... the Scripture you don't know cannot produce results for you

    ●If you know the Scriptures, but you know them incorrectly, you will have incorrect results... Which is as good as not having results at all. 

NB: This is the system we must understand in order to produce results. 

THE 5 Stages

1) Our results come from God's Word. 

2) The Word must be correctly interpreted

3) We then have working knowledge of the Word (a belief) 

4) We then appy the Word.

5) Through prayer & thanksgiving we wait for inevitable results.

Matthew 22: 29

The Lord Jesus says:

    ●29 “You are in error, because you don't know the Scriptures or the power of God. 

    ●You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the operation of the Holy Spirit

    ●ERROR is the consequence of a Church that does not know the Word of God and the Spirit of God

    ●There must be a marriage between, the Word of God, and the Spirit. 

    ●Jesus was known as powerful in Word and Spirit (Luke 24: 19)

    ●For the end times Church, there must be a proper balance between "Word" & "Spirit"

    ●Not all Word and no Spirit

    ●Not all Spirit, and not much Word

Jesus must be both Saviour and Lord, in the life of a believer.

    ●One of the things that God does through the Word, is extract His Church from the church of men and marine spirits. 

    ●The only true test to separate the true Church from the false church.. .. and a true Christian from a false Christian,... 

    ●is "TO WHAT EXTENT ARE THEY ALIGNED TO THE WORD OF GOD" 

    ●It is God’s Word that makes a Human being different

    ●It is God’s Word that makes a person christlike

    ●It is the Word that the Holy Spirit uses to sanctify a person. 

NB: We are not sanctified by the Holy Spirit breathing on us.... it is the Word. 

We Church of the Lord is identifiable by the Word in their lives. (not mind) 

NB: A church, is often a mixed multitude. 

NB: So how can we tell the difference, between the worldly church and the true Church of God?

NB: Because in big meetings, the Church is never alone. 

    ●When gold is mined. It is never found alone

    ●There is no golden mountain, where there's nothing else but gold (Disney land) 

    ●When gold is discovered it is often found hugging  intimately, what is not gold. 

    ●Gold is always found in the midst of dirt

NB: They say... sometimes precious metals are hardly recognizable in the mines; 

    ●they look just like the earthy minerals around them.

    ●They say it takes a special eye to spot gold in the midst of dirt
