Kingdom of Righteousness
Matthew 6:33 ESV - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Two things that we have been asked to seek: His Kingdom and His righteousness. It has also been given to us freely. However, we try to earn the righteousness of God through the things that we do. We strive, challenge, work hard and even pursue good works. But what we often forget is that righteousness was never meant to be earned, but to be received. God has already done it for us in the person of Jesus. He has called us His righteousness.
