You didn't really repent, you just said "sorry." 

Unless there's new revelation and changed behavior, there is not a real encounter or real repentance. Too many times people place their associations and deeds before their behavior. "I'm a good person," or "I belong to this church, this faith, this organization..." God is more interested in you producing fruits worthy of repentance than a surface level apology.

Kingdom repentance is a new person in Christ!
