After six days of creation, the Lord instituted a day of rest. The Sabbath was then commanded for man as a part of the law. The Lord knows we need to rest from work. Although we are no longer under a command to obey the Sabbath, we still need to take the time to rest. We have entered into the true rest in Jesus Christ.
