Fighting God finds us at part six of Kingdom War and Coming King. Man has been fighting and conquering kingdoms since they grew out of infancy before the Lord and took their first steps to go it alone. Israel was different among nations, born out the loins of Abraham; the Lord blessed the tiny nation as it grew out of infancy. They beheld the glory of God and the wrath of God, suffered punishment in Egypt although Joseph became an important man in Egypt. God delivered them, escorted them out of Egypt, and along the way ran smack dab into Gods wrath after the report of the twelve spies. Few nations of peoples have had the experience of Israel. Here we move forward and find some answers to the phrase “Fighting God.” It just not very good policy to antagonize the Lord God.

Fighting God which in simple English means to go against the will and purposes of the #LordGod. To #resisthiswill, #hisword, and go on your own. This week we look at #FightingGod and the #childrenofIsrael. It can get seriously out of hand when challenging the #Lord. Today though just as #Israel did after the report of the #twelvespies, the people rejected to follow through with going into the #promiseland. It is a classic #bible story. Yet with all this to go against the will of the Lord is dangerous. Herein lay the story and the one man who interceded to the Lord for Israel to save them.
