But the Sipirt of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.
Summary of the Message
Although God and Samuel didn't consider it was the appropriate time for Israel to have a king, Saul was assigned to the task.
God showed Saul that He was in control. God also showed that He could supply for his needs. Lastly, God showed that he could provide Saul with the power to do the service.
