Daniel receives a second vision from God. He sees a two-horned ram representing the Medo-Persian Empire charging in all directions. But then a male goat appears in the West and moves across the face of the whole earth. From a goat, a horn will arise that will desecrate the temple and harm God's people. In the midst of these visions, Christians have no need to fear because we are confident the exalted "Son of Man" is reigning in heaven and will gather his elect from the four corners of the earth.
