Lets protect your data through a portable device. That is what the Kingston IronKey Vault does. it allows you to keep your data safe and accessible with a strong password behind it.
How the Kingston IronKey Vault Works
It’s a simple SSD drive with AES 256-bit encryption, and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 197 certified. On the drive is a touch-screen key code – and it allows for an alphanumeric password to be entered and saved.
The drive is not OS dependent. PC, Mac, and Linux are all accessible with this drive – as long as you know the password.
Create Strong Passcodes
Different Passwords for Different Data
You can assign more than one password, which protects data depending on the logon. Set password rules so some logins do not have access to certain areas.
Read Only Mode
If you connect this drive to other computers, you can initiate read-only drive. This make sure no other files are copied to your drive (such as malware), but you can get to the data you need.
Auto Lock
The device can also be set to automatically re-lock if not used within a certain time frame. This can be changed from hours to minutes through the control panel.
How to Use the Kingston IronKey Vault
Plug the drive into the computer, and it will power the touchscreen. From there, simply put in the code, and choose how you want to access the drive.
