Why is Kinship such a hard thing to say in media. We have had Eastenders tackling Special Guardianship Orders but without actually explaining what it all meant for those going through it. TV shows like Alma's Not Normal and Happy Valley deal with Kinship stories, but don’t mention Kinship by name. Why is this? Saying it once would shine a light in the cause and open some eyes to Kinship Carers and Kids.
