A literary love affair has provoked big debate in Israel. 'Borderlife' tells the story of an Israeli woman and a Palestinian man who fall in love in New York. Despite its recommendation by a panel of experts, the Ministry of Education declared the book unsuitable for high school curriculum on the grounds that it could encourage young Arabs and Jews to enter into intimate relationships.
