Since as early as I can remember, I’ve always loved telling stories. My country’s (Trinidad) history is rich with folklore and stories that are some of the most captivating (at least that I am aware of).

But my love for music is even more.

For some time, I’ve been considering how to tell my short story ideas via auditory means but have never felt there was a “right time” to do so. It had to be ‘polished’ properly, it had to be marketed ‘right’, it had to be… perfect.

For once, I have no interest in the publicity of this project. I just want to express myself through my music. Unfiltered. Unbothered. Untainted.

And thus, ‘Klaüst’ was created. This alias will be the one to tell my unheard stories through music that I’ve never imagined writing before, but am. As such, here is my first offering. It’s part of an album that will come at some point. But for now, I’d just like to let the world hear what I’ve enjoyed making.
