Week Two of the competition saw you entering texting by answering the Pay My Bills question before the 8:30am deadline on Friday morning:

Emily correctly answered ‘Save more money’ and was randomly selected as the Week Two winner - securing a £1,500 cash prize.
Speaking after the win, Emily said she plans to use the money towards moving house which has been going on for seven months.
There’s still one last chance to win, with Week Three being the final week of Pay My Bills. Even more excitement is set for Monday morning, as Rob and Numi will reveal the grand total up for grabs on kmfm Breakfast.

Elena Colteve from Dover Wins £1,000 in Week One of kmfm’s Pay Your Bills

The new year has got off to a winning start for Elena from Dover, who has been crowned the first winner of kmfm’s Pay Your Bills competition.
Kent’s radio station is giving listeners the chance to win their share of thousands of pounds across three weeks, helping to ease the financial pressure following the festive season.
The competition opened on Monday, with listeners given until 8:30am on Friday morning to answer the Week One Pay Your Bills question:
Which month traditionally has the highest household energy usage in the UK?
A) July
B) January
C) August
Elena correctly answered the question and was randomly selected as the Week One winner, taking home a £1,000 cash prize.
Speaking after the win, Elena said that she was recently in a car accident and plans to spend the money on paying off her bills after an expensive Christmas.

With less than a week until Christmas, kmfm has given away another £2,000 ‘Cash For Christmas’ in the final big cash giveaway of the year.

The Kent radio station’s competition gave one lucky listener 24 hours to win the big cash jackpot; from Thursday at 6pm through to Friday at the same time.

From the thousands of entries via text and online, Heather Dolan from Folkestone received the surprise call from presenter Ben Pearce

Heather has three grandchildren who she plans to treat this Christmas.

Juliette Bryant from Sittingbourne was a previous winner of the competition on Friday 5th December. She said winning £2,000 meant she could buy “some really good Christmas presents” and have “a really good Christmas Day.”

It’s been another month full of winners on Kent’s Radio Station, kmfm, with October proving there really were no tricks and only treats thanks to Thousand Pound Friday.

The monthly competition gives listeners the chance to win £1,000 on the final Friday of each month. Entrants have 24 hours to take part – from 6pm Thursday until 6pm Friday – before one name is randomly selected.

This month, Adam Lawrence, in for Ben on Getting You Home, made the call to Anna Trigueirinho from Sevenoaks to reveal they’d won £1,000. The Mum of four plans to spend the money on a trip home to Poland for Christmas.

Speaking after the call, Anna said she was talking to her children about the idea of visiting home, but it was expensive. As soon as she was revealed as the winner of the competition she knew that trip can now happen.

Over the past four weeks, kmfm has given away thousands of pounds with their competition Play 3 Pay Me, and three rounds of Thousand Pound Friday, making September the biggest cash giveaway month in the station’s history.

Thousand Pound Friday, the long-standing competition on kmfm, gives listeners 24 hours to enter – from 6pm Thursday to 6pm Friday – either by text or online. At 6pm tonight, one Kent listener was selected at random to be the final Thousand Pound Friday winner of September – just minutes after entering.

Ben on kmfm’s Getting You Home made the exciting call to Michael Peevor from Cranbrook to tell him he had won £1,000 cash. He plans to spend the money on car repairs and a trip away with his three children and his fiance Lucy Fuller.

“That’s unreal. That's made my weekend already!”

September has become the biggest cash giveaway month for kmfm ever with their competition Play 3 Pay Me, and now two bonus rounds of Thousand Pound Friday. The competition gives listeners 24 hours to enter - from 6pm Thursday to 6pm Friday - either by text or online.
Tonight at 6pm one Kent listener was chosen at random as the latest winner.

Marta Peck from Paddock Wood won £1,000 cash with Thousand Pound Friday on kmfm!

Marta is a Carer and was working between clients when she answered the surprise phone call. Having entered on Thursday evening it had been nearly 24 hours since she had entered the competition.

She revealed that today is her husband John’s 51st birthday and because they both have busy work schedules, she plans to treat him to a romantic dinner.

The competition usually runs on the last Friday of each month, where kmfm gives listeners 24 hours to enter - from 6pm Thursday to 6pm Friday - either by text or online.

But in a surprise twist on Thursday 11th September at 6pm Ben Pearce on kmfm’s Getting You Home surprised listeners with the news that an extra round of the game would be running this week.
Twenty four hours later one lucky winner was chosen at random as the winner.

Elaine Heagren from Rochester is celebrating a £1,000 cash win after becoming the latest winner of Thousand Pound Friday with kmfm!

The mum from Medway works as a cook at a nursery in Chatham, and was listening at the time and decided to enter the competition at 8am today.

This evening, Ben Pearce on kmfm’s Getting You Home made the exciting winning call. Elaine was thrilled, saying she plans to spend the money on taking her daughter Sasha and grandson, Stanley (13) on their first holiday abroad

The Kent Radio Station’s competition, ‘Thousand Pound Friday’ invites listeners to enter via text or online from Thursday at 6pm. 24-hours later one winner is chosen at random. With no questions and no rollovers, there is always a guaranteed winner

July’s winner is Joe Buckley from Cliff Woods. The 24-year old enters the competition every month and was at work at an accountancy company earlier today when he decided to give it another go.

Thinking no more about it, Joe was in the car with his brother Charlie on their way to visit their uncle in Winchester when he received the surprise phone call.
