While a majority of Americans still view the coronavirus pandemic as mostly a health crisis, more people are seeing it primarily as an economic crisis, according to a new poll.
An NBC SurveyMonkey Weekly Tracking Poll released Tuesday indicates more Americans are beginning to worry about how long it is taking for businesses to reopen amid the pandemic.
Poll results show:
52% of Americans say the coronavirus pandemic is predominantly a health crisis.
47% of Americans say the pandemic is more of an economic crisis.
54% of Americans say it is a bigger concern than businesses are reopening too quickly compared to 42% of people who say they are worried that businesses aren’t opening fast enough.
