Know exactly where to focus

A coach of mine shared with me a simple process for working out exactly where to focus your time.
Here's how it works:
You set your big goal, for say, 90 days from now
Make sure that goal is relatable to you, ideally you'd be emotionally invested in it. (Not just a financial goal).
Then you play: "If only ... "
And work backwards from the end goal.
For instance
Big goal: a stable coaching business.
If I can only get a waitlist of clients, then I can have a stable coaching business.
If I can only get a full calendar, then I can have a waitlist of clients.
If I can only make enough sales, then I'll have a full calendar.
If I can only get on enough calls with the right kind of leads, then I'll make enough sales.
If I can only qualify the leads well, then I can get on enough calls with the right kind of leads.
If only I can find a good way to nurture leads, then I'll qualify the leads well.
If only I can market effectively, then I can find a good way to nurture leads.
If only I choose a specific market niche, then I can market effectively.
