We continue the series "Knowing God by Name" with another sermon titled "El Shaddai-The God Almighty“. Brother Macoy shared some ways we must take in order to experience God's power in our lives.El Shaddai first found in the book of Genesis, where God speak to Abram (later Abraham) and make a promise to him that God will increase the number of his descendant if he walks before God faithfully, and be blameless. El Shaddai is a picture of a God who is mighty to do as He says. What He says comes to pass. As God told Abram, the fulfilment of God’s promises comes with commands first. We must do our part in being obedient despite our struggles and problems. It will not be easy, but we must remember who God is. He is the Almighty God, and he would give us the strength to overcome our situation.God has the desire to bless us. He desires to show grace and mercy and love towards us. When we feel we have given up all hope, when you feel so much burden in life, remember that God is able to do much more than is humanly possible. Know that he is our El Shaddai, walk before Him wholeheartedly, and it will change our life completely.
