What’s in a name? Well, according to Scripture, a lot. But in 21st-century America, names don’t necessarily tell us much about a person, but simply distinguish one person from others.
However, names in Scripture, like “Yahweh,” not only identify God but also describe who he is and how he relates to his people and all of creation.
