The desires of the world are the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of biological life. None of these have any aspect of the Love of God in them.  We are of the Church, we belong to God. Stop letting the world manipulate us into dishonoring ourselves like they do. Abstain from fornication, possessing out bodies with sanctification and honor.  

Each one of you should intuitively know to possess your own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the desirous passions, just as which also the Gentiles, the ones not intuitively knowing God – 1 Thessalonians 4:4,5
