God desires to make His thoughts known to us. His thoughts are deep (1 Corinthians 2:10), cannot be numbered (Psalm 40:5), and are precious toward us (Psalm 139:17). They are thoughts of peace and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11), and they are higher and better than ours (Isaiah 55:8–9).
This teaching invites us to grow in spiritual understanding and alignment by learning to discern and walk in the thoughts of God.
