If we won’t be obedient to the revealed will of God, why do we bother insisting we need to know His unrevealed will before we make a decision? One of the biggest struggles holding people back from living a full life is their longing to know the will of God. We pridefully assume we are so valuable that God has given us one special and specific career choice, job, place to live, or even person to marry. Instead, God has given us His revealed will that we are to operate within. If we do that, we may regret some of our job choices or places we’ve lived or relationships we’ve sought after. But we won’t have to fear that we haven’t been in the will of God.
