Being known by God is not a reward for faithful belief. It is the ground you were standing on before you ever turned toward Him.

This teaching opens a three-part series on what it means to be known, named, and glorified. The session grounds itself in the question of identity before it touches the question of knowledge. Religion has trained sons to measure their worth by what society assigns them, but this teaching confronts that directly: an all-knowing, all-wise God counted the cost and still created you. John 3:16 is handled not as a salvation tagline but as a declaration that God valued man at the price of God Himself. The tension the teaching builds toward is the moment in Matthew 7 where Christ says "depart from me, I never knew you," held against the claim that every son is already known by the Spirit dwelling in them.
