The Trump administration says it's not a coup, but whatever is happening on the streets of Venezuela, where protesters are violently clashing with police, is certainly a serious escalation.

With the main opposition leader, who many nations including the US consider the legitimate leader, calling for the military to help kick out the government, tensions that were already high in Venezuela are now boiling over.
