Hurricane Dorian is doing its best to ruin the Labor Day weekend for millions of people across Florida, and beyond.

The slow moving storm is building up considerable strength in the warm Atlantic Ocean waters, before it's expected to turn west within a day or two and move right through Central Florida as a powerful category 4 storm.  We will go in depth on the damage that Dorian could cause.

Americans are expected to hit the roads and skies in droves for this Labor Day weekend, although Dorian could make travel tricky and not just in the Southeast states.  We'll preview what could be frustrating holiday traveling.

California lawmakers are inching closer to upending the business models of Uber and Lyft with a bill that would make it harder for the rideshare companies to classify their drivers as independent contractors.  The drivers are cheering this.......but Uber and Lyft are promising to throw tens of millions of dollars behind an effort to fight back.

That Joe Biden is a gaffe machine is not new; but the former vice president has been especially prone to even more egregious misstatements on the campaign trail in recent weeks, and it's prompting pundits to ask if there's an age factor at play..........or if this is just Biden being Biden.

And it was one of the best feel good stories we've reported on recently, a group of Placer County Sheriff deputies worked to free a bear cub from inside a trash bin near Lake Tahoe...........we'll talk with one of the deputies who helped to reunite the cub with its momma bear.
