ABC has yanked Roseanne -- an enormous hit for the network, at a time when network television needs all the viewers it can get -- after its star, Roseanne Barr, tweeted offensive and racist comments aimed at a former advisor to President Obama. Roseanne did apologize, but the president of ABC Entertainment called the remarks abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values... and canceled the very popular show. This happened on the same day that Starbucks closed thousands of stores for a few hours to give employees racial bias education. Also on the show, the mother of the only American adult on board the ill-fated Malaysia airliner that went missing four years ago, as the search for the plane ends without finding it. And 50 years after Robert Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles, there's growing talk about how Sirhan Sirhan could not have acted alone or fired the fatal shots.
